good morning! it's been exactly one year since i've started journalling here. i think overall it's been a good thing, even if originally i had very lofty goals for what this website was going to become. next year i will strive to get some pages done that aren't just journals.

• the other day i was invited to coffee by someone who i look up to a lot! i was quite starstruck in the days leading up to it, but the moment we started talking my anxieties faded and we had a great chat. barely an hour in i already started infodumping about bible facts :) it felt good to talk to someone in real life; i hope i can make more friends here.
• exam results finally came in fully. i passed two of my subjects, and failed the third one, but i'm in high spirits about the retake next month.
• Chanukah is coming up very soon, and so is my birthday! i will reflect on the past year when that comes, but i think i'm in a much, much better place.
• the VODs from town con have been uploaded, and one of the talks that were recorded was by me! click here to watch me give a tour of town's newfangled tutorial that i made.
• oh, speaking of town: i've been added to the volunteer admin team! i never thought i'd be willingly doing any moderation ever again after the last couple of years, but this year on town has simply been lovely, and i want to help wherever and however i can.
