hiya! today's update is coming out a bit later than expected — i had a lot to keep track of. speaking of which:

• listened to Getting Killed by Geese. i liked it quite a bit! as a Thom Yorke connoiseur, i get why Cameron Winter is compared to him, but honestly the more i listened the more i started hearing Julian Casablancas. my favourite track has gotta be Trinidad, it's an explosive opener!
• on 2025-10-28 my friend vilmibm ran a marathon of bad horror VHSes on VCR PARTY. it was incredibly fun, the films were incredibly bad, and i logged all of them, too :>
• i am done with the first quarter of the first year of uni, and i feel pretty good about it. the tests were tough but i am hopeful i'll pass everything fine. there are various looming threats for first-year international students who don't pass enough courses, but i'm trying my best to stay on top of things.
• i have a registered business in the Netherlands now! galilean is a real actual business owned by the real actual me. how crazy is that
• i recently came across Russ Cox's tour of the Acme editor again, and this time watched it to completion. this tool looks so awesome and if i ever find myself with 6 months of free time i'm definitely setting some time aside to learn it properly.
• my big computer and monitors should finally be here soon! i haven't played any video games in a while. considering playing Deus Ex when i finally get my box.
